I jerked awake to the sound of my ringing cellphone.
âFuck,â I muttered, looking down at Emily who was sleeping soundly beside me.
She was still laying on my arm, curled up against me, such peace across her beautiful features that I wanted to stay here. I didnât want to move an inch, but if I didnât get my phone, she would wake up, and I couldnât have that. Not tonight.
So, I carefully pulled my arm out from under her, holding my breath and stilling when she adjusted herself, pulling the blankets up to her chin, curling her legs inward.
When I was sure she was settled, I pushed back the blanket and stood, still completely naked, my cock already erect. I would have glared at it, but I couldnât. It had every reason to be ready for another around, especially after what had happened last night.
She had squirted all over me. Drenched me in her cum. Fuck, even thinking about it made my cock twitch with hunger. God, I would give up anything in the world to make her do it again.
I rolled my shoulders and headed into the room that was still drenched in the scent of our sex. My ties were still loosely tied to the bedframe, the covers all in disarray. I would have to get them dry-cleaned for her. I made the mess, might as well pay for it.
I smiled at the scene before me as I made my way to my pants and pulled out my cellphone, my smile falling away when I saw the name.
My brows furrowed as I hit answer, checking the time before I put the phone to my ear. âEverett? Itâs 3am, why are you calling me this late?â
âAzrael disappeared again, Malachi is out looking for him, he told me to let everyone know.â
I grasped the bridge of my nose, groaning. Not again. âWhat happened?â
âI donât know, Greyson, he caught wind of something and left. Jack canât get a trace on him. He pulled out $100,000 and left, dumped his car along with his cell. Heâs in the wind.â
I groaned, running my hand back through my hair. âFuck. What do you need me to do?â
âKeep an eye and ear out. We all come to you when weâre in trouble, so Malachi and Beckett are hoping he will too.â
âWhat does Beckett have to say about it?â
âHeâs angry, of course heâs angry.â
He had vouched for us, so every time Azrael went off the deep end, Beckett took it personally. âAlright, Iâll keep my eye out for him and let you know what I hear.â I glanced back towards the cracked bedroom door, my heart already thumping.
I walked up to it slowly, opening it a bit more so the light from the room didnât wake her.
She was snoring softly, her line of drool dripping from her mouth onto her pillow, her hair spread everywhere. I couldnât help but smile.
âGreyson?â
âHmm?â I asked, watching as she stretched, groaning lazily. Fuck.
âHow are you doing? Malachi said you were having troubles.
